TODD TAIL

Beach Bumz

This past Saturday I loaded my car with Nate, Annie, Cody (one of Nate's flight school buddies), and of course, Todd and headed down to Panama City beach. This time for one distinct mission...find the dog beach.

After a few u-turns we finally found the small area designated for the puppies, and let me tell you I was not that impressed. First, because of the actual location, it was right next to the busiest pier and shopping center in Panama City. Second, it was the grossest water we have seen at the beach yet. It was full of seaweed and a nasty green color instead of the nice blue. Finally, it wasn't really clearly marked that this is where the puppies get to play. They had signs saying don't go past this point with your dogs, etc. but it would have been nice to have it a little more secluded from the drones of people. OK, sorry if I am being a little picky but I think the dog park in KC made Todd and myself a little spoiled.

Non the less it was very entertaining to see Todd at the beach for the first time, and see Annie in the water for the first time. Todd got used to the waves and actually started playing with the tennis ball in the water but got shocked numerous times by the waves. Annie on the other hand would rather have been digging under the beach chair than being taught how to swim by Nate and Cody.

All in all it was a good puppy beach day.

The boys got to play in the water. (Nate's the little speak floating in the water)

Annie added a new state to her list.

And Todd got to soak in some rays.
