So before Nate left for deployment mobilization and deployment , and on his last visit home, we decided to do a family photo shoot. We wanted to do this for two main reasons, one is because (do to a very quick engagement) we never got to take engagement photos, and two (and the more important reason) we wanted some photos of our us and our furry little friends. That way Nate can take the photos with him as he embarks on his first deployment.
I spoke with the photographer about what shots I wanted and figured out what we were going to wear. We ended up going to the nature preserve in Plano, TX and it was beautiful.
Here are a few of my favorites.
Alex & Nate - Every picture evokes another emotion; another insight; some a gosh darn. The pictures for me certainly capture the your ability to be you ... power statements ... red high heels & a pilot's helmet ... bold and yet joined. Here's to month one of deployment. - Love, Mom/Linda

ReplyDeleteFine set of photo's, they send a message of love and fun. They inspire me to want to have dinner with the two of you, dogs included--what would we have for dessert??
