It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown

The other night Nate and I finally took the time to carve our pumpkins. It was a fun messy process but isn't it always?

I decided to carve a monster, and Nate picked a mummy. Nate's was more artistic and precise, mine more like a 5-year-old who traced their coloring book, but that's OK with me. To light them we used these touch lights that you could buy at Walgreen's. They are three different colors but all of them do something different with their light. The yellow (Nate's) gives a flickering candle affect, the green (mine) is a strobe light, and the red...well we don't know because there is only two of us. Well, there are three if you count Todd but he just got a mini pumpkin so he didn't need one.

After the pumpkins were light and placed on the windowsill, we had Alex made pumpkin pie and watched a classic Charlie Brown holiday episode.
